3 Prestigious Awards, 1 New Product Release and an Ambitious Aerospace Project – Our 2019 Was Great

This past year was a roaring success for TESLASUIT. From starting 2019 in the famous Las Vegas, Nevada, to winning awards and introducing new products set to revolutionising the XR world as we know it, we’re excited to see what 2020 will bring.

But, before we ring in the New Year , let’s take a moment to look back and recap the last 12 months.

Multiple award-winners

In 2019  our primary focus was on applying TESLASUIT for VR training in various industries, such as the oil and gas industries, power plants, and even aerospace, and this is a trend that we’ll continue in 2020.

It’s also one that saw our team walk away with our first award of the year. We were recognised as an honouree for the CES Innovation Awards 2019 at the most influential technology event in the world – CES (Consumer Electronics Show).

Another acknowledgement that we are moving in the right direction; TESLASUIT received the Future Unicorn Award at Masters of Digital, representing the UK. This award celebrates the best SMEs across Europe that have the potential to become the future European Tech giants. We are especially proud to represent the best future technology for the whole country.

But, for us, this year was not only about a technical revolution, but innovation in design. Our third award of 2019 saw us winning the Red Dot Award for Product Design 2019. It was awarded for the progressive design of our TESLASUIT.

Exhibition-worthy products

TESLASUIT is not just an amazing product; it’s museum worthy too! 2019 saw our wearable VR technology put on display in the Red Dot Museum in Singapore.

Taking pride of place in the Human Nature Exhibition, for those in the Marina Bay Area there’s time until September 2020 to stop by and see our innovation.

New partnerships

Winning award is a fantastic achievement for any company looking to change the world. But, one of the best things we were able to take away from 2019 is building connections with new partners to create great things together.

From those new connections, we were able to create such amazing partnership projects such as:

  • 5G Rugby Tackle at the Vodaphone 5G network launch, allowing users to play rugby at a 100 miles distance.
  • HeadsUp’s “Feel the Drive” Formula 1 experience, giving the thrill and experience of driving a real F1 car with none of the risk.
  • Crytek’s CRYENGINE, a proven VR experience maker, engaged TESLASUIT’s technology to provide more immersive experiences.
  • Mastercard partnership for the 2019 Rugby World Cup saw visitors challenged to hold onto a real-life rugby ball while engaged in the VR world of rugby play.

Fully certified?

Speaking of potential new partnerships, for TESLASUIT, 2019 marked a year of global expansion. This year we rolled out our tailored certification programme, allowing our partners to become official TESLASUIT certified.

Gaining in-depth knowledge of what goes on behind the suit, our certified partners are able to deliver TESLASUIT-related services across the world and provide first-class support to our clients, no matter their location.

Worldwide events

This year, we also had the pleasure of attending many exciting events. The CES trade show was one of this year’s standout tradeshows, where we were able to engage with our partners and showcase our innovations. For us, as a team, it was an exciting experience to see the reactions of our visitors as they’d experienced our products live in action.

Our team was delighted to present our creation to audiences across the world, with our executive team, including Sergei Nossoff (CEO) and Dimitri Mikhalchuk (CRO), delivering insightful presentations at over 10 worldwide destinations.

In addition, we also had the opportunity to present and meet with TESLASUIT clients all across the world at numerous events,  including Accenture Interactive at SXSW 2019 (Austin, Texas), Laval (France), the International Forum for the Military and Civil Simulation, Training, and Education Community (ITEC) (Stockholm, Sweden), AR/VR Conference, and Expo AWE (USA, Santa Clara, California).

Breaking new frontiers

By keeping our ear to the ground for new advances in technology, building fruitful new partnerships, and our unquenchable desire to progress; we, at TESLASUIT, are constantly hungering to break new boundaries. That’s why we have started an ambitious aerospace project – E.VA – to make a human mission to Mars possible. In the nearest future, we’ll create a virtual world where astronauts may experience rest from extended space travel.

The first tests have already been completed with the participation of French astronaut Jean Francois Clervoy. The next step is testing the E.VA Project at the International Space Station, located in low Earth orbit. We can’t wait to share the results with you.

Rounding up the year in success

The cherry on top of our fantastic 2019 year? The world premiere of proprietary brand-new VR-powered gloves – the TESLASUIT GLOVE. It is the world’s first TESLASUIT-compatible VR glove that integrates haptics, motion capture, biometry and force feedback. The glove has a range of breakthrough applications, from enterprise XR-training to rehabilitation and so much more.

“We believe that it’s only the beginning. In the future, TESLASUIT will have even more broad applications in medicine and rehabilitation, sports and fitness, games and entertainment. We will also continue improving TESLASUIT to change humanity as we know it today,” – said Sergei Nossoff, CEO of TESLASUIT.
